A one-day workshop combining the healing power of eurythmy and drama.
Eurythmy is an expressive movement art originated by Rudolf Steiner in conjunction with Marie von Sivers in the early 20th century. Primarily a performance art, it is also used in education, especially in Waldorf schools, and – as part of anthroposophic medicine – for therapeutic purposes.
In this one-day workshop, we invite you to experience how eurythmy can help humans in modern time to again come to balance with world and themselves.
In Anthroposophy, the arts possess great pedagogical and therapeutic potential. Based on a spiritual-scientific image of the human being, arts can help make visible the complete human being, giving expression to supersensible forces and inherent laws that form the human constitution. You are invited to experience a taste of the power of eurythmy and drama in this workshop.
Originally from Metković, Croatia, Zoran Zovko has spent 10 years working on Camphill communities and 7 years at Waldorf schools in a career that spanned the UK, Germany, and Taiwan. He is an accredited curative eurythmy therapist and is deeply experienced in working with families with children with special needs.
Besides teaching at our school, Zoran also offers therapeutic eurythmy sessions to adults and children alike.
