Every year we welcome our families and friends to the school for a celebration of the coming of winter! You are cordially invited to enjoy arts and crafts, children’s games, food and treats, puppet shows, and holiday gift shopping.

11:00 am – Class 5
11:15 am – Class 1

1:45 pm – Class 2
2:00 pm  – Class 4

Our students are ready to perform their daily learning in front of families and friends! See how different pedagogical activities help make learning fun and experiential. Each performance will last approximately 15 minutes.

What goes on in a Waldorf classroom

10:15 to 10:45 am – Classes 1 to 3 Mathematics with Teacher Mala
12:00 to 12:30 pm – Classes 1 to 3 Chinese with Teacher Pinky
12:30 to 1 pm and 2:30 to 3:00 pm (FULL) – Class 5 Botany and wet-on-wet painting with Teacher Deepa

This is for adults to come sit in our classroom and experience what it is like to be a Waldorf student! Get a taste of the learning experience – games, verses, artistic activities, and classroom instruction – our students enjoy every day.

12:30 to 1:00 pm – Why wait? The importance of play in early education by Teacher Tammy

A brief explanation of the approach to helping children become school ready in a Waldorf kindergarten.

1:00 to 1:45 pm – What is Eurythmy, and the importance of rhythm for the development child by Teacher Zoran

Experience this movement art for yourself and find out how can parents support a child’s healthy development at home.

We invite you to come have a taste of our kindergarten class, where you and your child may meet the teaching team and enjoy a nourishing puppet show.
